Hi I’ve recently started on infliximab infushion for my rheumatoid arthritis I also have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Since my first infusion three weeks ago I’ve had an upset stomach for a week which meant a gap of three weeks between infusions instead of two. A week ago from my left knee down to my toes had been cold and numb. I’ve seen my doctor last Monday and he drew of 30 ml of fluid of my knee which was very swollen. I also have a lot of hip and back pain Also gave steroid into the joint . Has anyone else had any issues with infliximab

I took it for years and it kept me going. I did have issues with the methoxitrate I had to take with it. I hope you settle down and benefit
Thanks I’ll continue with it and hope things settle as it’s more or less my last option to try
It was the first biologic I was given. I understand that the infusions are much quicker now and that if you take methotrexate with infliximab that too is easier with self injection. There are now many more biologics available working in different ways so I wouldnt expect this to be your only option. Hope
oh my! That’s a lot of attempts. There was a moment when there seemed to be a new biologic coming on regular basis. Hope this works for you
