Hi iv been using metro jet pens for quite a few years iv just got my new prescription and the pens are different they are gray instead of yellow and thinner has any one else's charged thank you

Hi, I ve had the new ones for a couple of months. I panicked when I first saw them, but I love them now. They are much easier to use. You don't have to try to pinch some flesh at the injection site, just press them into the skin. My only complaint is the use of so much plastic in the package.

That's reassuring.I chose to inject into my thighs when the rheumy nurse showed me how to do it and she didn't tell me to pinch the flesh - maybe because I've got enough natural padding! 😂

I have plenty of padding but still pinch an inch. I also find injecting into my tummy stings less than my thigh did.

I had notification from Healthnet a few months back to say that the pens were going to change design but I haven’t received any of the new ones yet.

Hi there, I too received the new type of metoject pens which were a bit of a surprise, I will be using them this week. I had a look at the instructions in the pack and it all looks pretty straightforward. Hopefully all will go well 😀

I've not opened my new prescription yet but was informed it was a change of pen I'm sure it will be fine. X

yes, mine have changed but I don’t have to press the plunger when it’s in place.
