Benipali pens

Strange thing or maybe common but there are supposed to be two clicks after the needle goes in. I've reported this but 3 times now I've not had the second click. That's when I count to 15 whilst the drug goes into the body. I can see through the clear area that it's going down. Two were from one batch and one from another. Just need to remember to have the clear window facing me. I've injected 2 years of pens with no issues till now. Anyone else encountered this?

I had one Benepali pen recentl, that didn’t have the second click. I’ve been using them7yrs, and that’s never happened. I still got my dose though. The other thing is that it caused a localised reaction that week, which I only ever had a few times in the early days. Just done todays with no issues

Once I had the once click with no second. Afterwards put the cap back on the pen and was going to put it in the sharps box. Left it on a table and there was a loud click coming from the pen that made me jump. I reported them to my delivery guys and they have told the Manufacturers. Also my Rheumy nurses at the hospital.

I’ve had that happen before and also sometimes I’m so tired when I do my injection that I don’t pay attention and don’t hear the second click but as long as the window is full of yellow I assume it’s gone in ok and count from when I notice.

I just need to remember to keep the window towards me so I can see when to pull out the needle. They seem to hurt more
