Hi. I'm still waiting to see the rhumathologist. I have pain in my feet the achille tendon is inflamme. Without the nsais i'm crying in pain. With the nsais it's supportable uf i put ice on it each hour and don't put weight on it to often. Sit almost all day. I ssk the pharmacist and he recommand to take acetaminophene non stop with the nsaid. He say to go to the emergency if i still can't walk normally. I just wonder if normally you wait for the flare to past or if i'm going to the emergency they can give me a medication stronger to wait for my appointement or if it's a waist of time. I saw a podologist. He confirm a problem with the ligament and it's inflamme and anormaly thicker. He propose shock wave therapy but i can't live 4 weeks without nsaid. What treatment did you get and by wich specialist? My family doctor i can't trust her. She did a big mistake with a previous injury that make me loose the hability to use one thumb. So i can't rely on her.

Thanks

sorry if I’m missing something but why are you having to stop the nsaid for 4 weeks if it helps? I’d pester the podiatrist to get an appointment sooner as 4 weeks is a long time to wait in pain. Maybe you could get a cancellation appointment. Injuries can take a long time to heal especially if it’s somewhere used a lot so I hope you get some relief soon.

You cannot mix the treatment shock wave with any anti inflammatory medication. And i can't stop the medication because the pain without them is unbearable and the medication help other articulation. I miss one day of nsaid and it was a nightmare. I'm normally tought with the pain but it was like beeing stab with a knife. With the nsaid and ice i can go to school. I can't walk or stay on my feet during a long time. The specialist ask me to wait to be sort out my the rhumathologist and have a treatment that don't involve nsaid. But my next appointement with the rhumathologist is in few week. Don't have a date yet. He's waiting for the test result. I'm gonna try today the nsaid and the max acetaminophene the pharmacist recommand me. If it's not working he recommand me to go to the emergency to see a rhumathologist.
