pip application

Hi everyone, I've not been on for a while as I have been feeling completely rubbish. I made my 3rd attempt at a pip application, and had my online interview on bank holiday Monday. I resided myself to a fight with the tribunal after being turned down for the 3rd time. Well today I received a text to say I have been awarded pip. total and utter shock, but feeling happy that I have finally been recognised as needing help. all I can say, is if you have been turned down before try again, but one thing I learned this time is only answer the questions asked, don't offer anything that isn't asked. Good luck you lovely people. x

Well done and yes keep fighting and you will get there be truthful and you have no worries. I had to take universal credit to a tribunal last year and the judge looked at the paperwork from my doctor qnd consultants and the court phoned me on the morning that I was meant to be there via video and said it should have not even came this far so I didn't have to attend. Months of fighting with them sent me into depression qnd made my condition 10 times worse but I knew what I at least deserved and fought until I won 💪💪💪

Oh that’s such good news for you. In my experience there are not many people who get PIP first time (.there are exceptions). It took me 2 attempts. I’m so thrilled for you no one ever wants to have to admit that they need support and the stress of having to get your ducks in a row and fill out pages and pages of paperwork doesn’t do anyone’s mental health any good. So now feel vindicated and remove the worry from yourself. Yayyy well done. I know it’s not easy.

Well done for persevering, keeping on point is key I found as they do try to diverge from what they should be asking you.

That’s great news 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I’m currently doing my pips review, which I hate! It’s so wrong that we pretty much have to beg for help with our disabilities 😔😔
