Hi all

So I previously wrote here about my assessment for pip, I was turned down even though I had 8 points in everyday care sector so I asked for MR I received letter on Friday to say I’ve been awarded standard care...Letter states though I’ve been awarded 11/10/2018 21/10/2020 I’m guessing they got dates wrong as it would mean my claim doesn’t start till 8 months time 🤔 also it states I’m Entitled to £22.00 a week....I thought standard rate was £55.65. I’m unsure of next step can anyone help?

Yes, I reckon they've stuffed up. I get standard care and its not £22.00! I'd ring them and querie it. Sounds like a clerical error...they're quite good at those!

I found the first letter from when I rang for forms and i phoned 11/10/2017 so must have made a couple of mistakes, there’s no payment sheet either to show when I get paid does that come separate? This is my first time claiming

I think all my info came at once with a breakdown of what I was getting it for, and the date it would go into my account.

I received nothing about payments or anything, I would probably do best to ring get it sorted tomorrow. Does payments take long to come through

Mine didn't. I get them once a month. I would certainly check up if I were you. I also get Esa every two weeks.

I used to get a much higher rate when it was DLA. I struggle a bit now as a result. I didn't have the energy to fight it at the time. I will be fighting it when it comes to renewal!

I get Esa but it’s work activity I think so don’t know if I’m entitled to extra off them as I’m on the £73 a week one, was told I’ve to tell them as I should be entitled to a premium, I’ve never been on either before so I honestly don’t know

payment is every 4 weeks, not monthly

£22 sounds like DLA which is what I was on and although I wasn't going to apply for PIP at the very last minute and after cancelling appointments I decided to. I was awarded PIP at £223/month on very low points.

Hi twenty two pounds is standard rate for mobility.

Fifty five is standard rate for daily living. You need eight points in each one to qualify, so if you only get the twenty two pounds it sounds like you only got mobility rate. You can look up all rates on gov website. I don't think you get premium rate if your in esa wrag only if your in support group as well.

I received the 8 points in daily living and 4 in mobility, letter states standard in daily living too, rang this morning was a mistake will be fixed and new letter issued

Hi, so you should get the fifty five pounds standard rate for daily living and not enough points for mobility. Good that you have got at least one component . They usually pay it quite quickly once it's been confirmed.

The case worker has put on wrong date so that has to be sorted instead of 11/10/17 he has put 11/10/18 so no payments have been sorted
