Hello lovely people. My first six monthly Cystoscopy after getting the all clear from bladder cancer in January showed that the cancer was back with a vengeance. So on Monday I'll be undergoing a Radical Cystectomy. I'm OK and positive with the outlook of living without a bladder and lots of other bits . I'm lucky that I get a chance to adapt to a new life and see no reason why it should stop me from getting back to where I am today; living an active happy life. I've been off my biologic for two weeks already and will be off for at least another six weeks. Let's hope RA won't mind too much. So wish me luck with my knew life and recovery. Stay well and positive.

I'm sorry to hear that stbernhard, what a shame, especially after getting the all clear not that long ago!! It's good to hear your positive attitude after such bad news and I hope it all goes really well for you. x
You have such a good attitude and that helps tremendously! I have a neighbor who had to have their bladder removed as well. He is living a very active life and doesn't let it interfere with anything. He around 75 now. Prayers for you, I hope everything goes well for you and that you have a quick and successful recovery.
sorry to hear that there’s another unplanned step - but sounds as if you are tacking it very well. I wish you a nimble fingered surgeon, an assiduous anaesthetist and caring nurses.
So sorry to hear that the Big C is throwing another curve ball at you, stbernhard but I see you are responding to it with your usual positivity and determination. Sending very best wishes for the surgery and the biggest hugs for your recovery 🤗
Wishing you all the best with your procedure. My OH is currently being treated for bladder cancer and is halfway through having BCG treatment after 2 TURBT ops.
Good luck with your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery. Positive is the best way forward. I often find if I have something else going on, that my RA behaves
You are an inspiration. What a wonderful positivity you have. I'm sure we could all learn something from you. I wish you all the very best with your surgery and look forward to hearing more from you. God bless.
All the very best wishes to you Stbernhard. Love your positive attitude and look forward to hearing from you again after your pipe work has be rearranged and you are on the road to recovery. Tell the RA to behave 😊👍
Sorry to hear this. I wish you well with your surgery & recovery. My friend had her bladder removed when she was in her early 20’s & is in her 60’s now. She has done well for a long time. I hope you do too x
Apologies, as I'm very late to the post, but really wanted to wish you well. I hope everything goes to plan, and you have a smooth recovery. I'm so sorry you've had to go through all this. Best wishes xx🙂
