It's with sad news about Jim.

Jim had cancer in both his kidneys, his lung, ardnel glands and then developed bone cancer in his leg, shoulder. He had an operation to put a pin in his leg about 4 weeks ago. He came home to die. In the last week he had hiccups every time he breathed in. He developed a severe sore throat and inflammation and could no long swollow or take medication. He could not talk either. He was put on a syringe driver yesterday and this morning passed away peacefully! He was not alone. His son was with him the moment he passed. Thank you for listening.

Thank you all for your sympathy and empathy. And thank you for your lovely replies. I saw my granddaughter and son yesterday and that was nice especially jasmine calling me granny! My sister has been looking after me and feeding me. It's these bursts of tears every now and then that get me. I feel isolated, Jim's daughter and her partner are still at Jim's house, and I would normally go round to see Jim after work and chat with them. That is gone now and I would feel like an intruder going to the house now. When I go again I will have to ask if I can go round! I still have things at Jim's and our caravan is there too, so shall have to get that sold too. I feel like an outsider now Jim has gone! Jim said he wanted us all to still see each other, but I don't know if they would still want me too, and this is where my depression starts again! My paranoia has kicked back in thinking do his kids still want to see me? I know it's all in my head! I rang work to say I was not going in yesterday but couldn't get anyone so rang my friend and she passed the message on, then my manager rang me and was so nice telling me take as much time of as needed. It was a lovely call, it made me cry!
