Just wondering if this is something anyone has encountered with RA?
My little girl has been diagnosed with it at A&E tonight and given antibiotics.
Apart from the usual good hygiene practices, I’m not sure what else to do to stay clear of it myself. Obviously it’s impossible to stay away from her when she’s not well and needs looking after..

I’ve not been in contact with scarlet fever myself but having brought up two children whilst having RA I have had to look after them with various other illnesses. My only advice is to maintain good basic hygiene. Regularly wash/sanitise hands and clean bathrooms and kitchen regularly. And just be extra vigilant, first sign of any possible infection go straight to your GP, walk in clinic, urgent treatment centre or call 112. Explain you are immunocompromised and your daughter has / recently had Scarlett fever.
