note my diagnosis is Stills Disease which for me manifests as rheumatoid disease. I also have tendinitis and Enthesitis at the site of a muscle injury and this foot is extremely itchy especially on the instep. Icing seems to relieve it a bit.
Yes I get this, it’s enthesitis, and it’s usually associated with flaring. Can drive me crazy. I sometimes find voltarol gel eases it slightly, but nothing else has helped. I am so stiff that reaching me feet to itch is challenging, so I have a telescopic scratcher, in my bedside drawer, as it seems worse at night, when re ing to sleep. Hope it settles soon 🤗
I've had enthesitis for along time in my elbows, but never the itch. The itch just below my knee and foot are driving me crazy....just something else to deal with.
my elbow drives me crazy when it goes into itchy mode!!! Just my left one though. It feels like the itch is in my bone as my skin shows no signs of irritation at all.
Hello my dear. I have itches in the same places as you describe, I have to use Shea butter regularly to keep on top of the itches even though my skin doesn't feel dry. Never heard of itchiness in tendons and ligaments, so can't advise anything. Not another thing you really don't need!
I associate the sort of itching you're describing with inflammation that is retreating. I get it in the soft tissue around my knees for a few days when they're returning to "normal" after they've been badly swollen caused by an RA flare. I usually use cold packs to cool the area, plus voltarol gel and just wait for it to eventually subside.
