Cimzia, pregnancy and itchyness

hi all you lovely people. Brief history, i was put on cimzia in oct 2020 after mtx did work the same way after pregnancy. Cimzia is great re my ra but im so itchy all the time ive had fo take antihistime every day. 6 wks ago at appointment. I asl to come off thr cimzia coz i flet my bkdy nneeded time tp recpver from constsnt infectoonz cough, runny aand blpcked nose. I am now pregnant again and consultant wants to put me back on cimzia to keep ra under control to avoid flares and miscarraig which i aam happy to do but im worred aabit thethe itch. I cacant take an antihistime when pregnanc. Im wondering has anyone else been in thr same boat? Im seeing my ggp monday to see if theythey have any answers but thought u would see if there was anyone in my situation currently or in the past.

I’m not medically trained so not able to give advice but maybe NRAS have some answers to your questions ? I was under the impression that certain antihistamines are safe to use during pregnancy but obviously I don’t know your history and wouldn’t hazard a guess. Hopefully your GP does have some answers for you and you can take the cimza and also have a safe antihistamine too. Congratulations anyway on the pregnancy.
