Any thoughts and experiences. on Covid

My first was last October that developed into pneumonia- nasty. My second was Christmas lasted ten days. Hopefully won’t get it again in next surge as I stayed indoors for eighteen months and still caught it ……

I'm sorry to hear that you have had it twice and hope you haven't felt too ill.

Re-infections do seem quite common. When you think that the virus is rapidly mutating then it makes perfect sense that previous antibodies that you made to fit the last variant may not fit specifically to kill off the new variant.

Immunity from vaccinations also declines with time and again was tailored for the original Covid virus so is less effective against the new variants of Omicrom 4 and 5. Fortunatley these don't seem to be as severe, but can still make you feel 'proper poorly' and very fatigued for several weeks.
