i know its not an ra ?
Fatigue can mean no energy and weakness and just yuk. I went to London today got off the train knowing fatigue was high and walking uphill for half a mile took all my will power and a lot of puffs on my puffer too. By the time I got to the top I was a wreck and wanted to sleep. How I did 3 hr lunch and smiles I am not too sure but getting back down hill on train and back home has left me a wreck. If you get a lot of chest infections which I did last year my GP did antibiotics and higher dose steroids to get me thro. So worth talking to GP on what can be done. Fatigue is the hard part of RA as you can win. I get dizzy if I get up to quick as well which is also to do with one of my drugs as well.
Hope this helps but you are not on your own in feeling like this.
Keep on doing what you're doing, keep notes/dates(week to week),to cheer yourself on.I know what you mean about thinking and doing,2 different activities.Fatigue is the problem, as is getting into a 'rut,' so any tweaking you can do with your 24/7 routine, to take some stress/pressure off yourself.Keep on drinking/pe. .ing, chair exercises.(few minutes, and increase) Your not alone.
Hiya Paul. As before, you'll not receive as many responses to your question here as on a dedicated chest/lung Healthunlocked site. Please, I’m sure only 2 responses in 2 days does show, & only wanting to flag you to where you'll receive the help, advice & experiences from others in the same boat & who will be better placed to help you.
I hope you turn a corner soon.
well you replied so so i am happy enough seem to be winning just took a LOT out of me sons lost his voice through it gone on to long but thats life wife just diagnosed diabetic so where will that take us been telling her for a long while she needed check up just took her blood with my monitor 15 first thing this morning seems very high to me but shes on way to docs so we see what they decide
Yes, I replied but I couldn’t help you! Glad you're winning. I'm sure once they've got your wife's diabetes under control she’ll be ok. Yes, 15 isn't low but she's newly diagnosed so it's not really bad. My h has type 3c diabetes & is difficult to control despite checking levels regularly throughout the day & taking both insulin 3 times a day & other meds in an attempt to regulate it.
You need to speak to your GP. I had these symptoms with covid- turns out I had the double whammy with a side of pneumonia so take care and seek medical help. Get better soon 💐
