There is immunetheraphy tablets, there is no chance for surgery. If he can take the tablets and he wants to, hopefully he may get a few years providing the cancer has not spread. He is having a biopsy very soon. Thank you for your kind posts. Take care

They did my husbands biopsy and MRI just under 2 weeks after he saw GP, amazing speed in these difficult times. My husband is going on HRT !! thats best way to describe it, and his prognosis is very good. But had he not had that blood test it would have been a different story. He is very lucky that surgery these days for prostate is very rarely done. He has been very fortunate. You take care of yourself too and I hope you have family support too. xx

Its very tragic news for you both , there are no words to take away the pain. If possible speaking from past experience try to spend as much time together doing the things you want. Some people live with cancer for many years with treatments, but what ever, treasure the time you do have it will leave many lasting memories.

Such awful news, so much sympathy. A good friend was diagnosed with stage 4 (terminal) lung cancer in February 2021. She is now on chemo and immunotherapy and well over a year later is doing just fine. The drugs are keeping it stable and she is very hopeful of several more good years to come. So please be hopeful that this isn’t the end now, but he can still have life to live.

And look after yourself too.

Please don’t lose hope, my husband had a similar diagnosis in September 2020, and immunotherapy has resulted in tumour reductions so much so that the cancer is barely detectable in his ct scans.

Like everyone on here I am at a loss except to say that doctors and nurses are modern day miracle workers and whilst they can’t cure flu when it matters they do incredible things!Be kind to yourself. Your husband will need you to be strong for him too- but you have all of us here on this crazy website so take advantage of us. Happy to listen and help you to walk through the storm. Take care. 🌈
