Amgevita and getting the runs….

Ive been in amgevita/ humira for just over three months and after my last injection i have had the runs and a very gripey tummy. Anyone had anything similar? 🌻❤️🌻

Could it just be coincidental? I gather the Norovirus is doing the rounds as people are mixing more, especially amongst schoolchildren and their families.

Hi Bonnett I suffer exactly the same from the runs also a headache after my Humira injection.I’ve been taking Humira for about 8 years.regards Mike

Adalimumab is known to be associated with stomach pain and an overactive gut in some people. You have to weigh up the advantages (lots in my case!) against the disadvantages. Everything I have been prescribed for Rheumatoid Disease (except codeine!) had given me an overactive gut...

So it seems I may have been lucky so far as I'm now on Imraldi (adalimumab) but not had this problem. However, I've only had four doses so far and am not convinced it's working to full effect yet, so maybe I will suffer later!!
