I had a hip replacement over 2 years ago but last couple of days the pain has been awful šŸ˜ž .. has this happened to anyone else ? x

Yesā€¦but I had a very nasty fall and ā€˜damagedā€™ it. Itā€™s not quite recovered. You must get it xrayed as a start, they also gave me an MRI. Itā€™s not normal so please get it checked out urgently.

Agree with Madmusickover. My husband had a hip replacement about five years ago - you shouldnā€™t be having any pain with it at all so you definitely need to get it seen to as soon as possible. A&E maybe?

Did they X-ray your hip - or just decide that was what it was from how you described it?

No - he did some leg strength tests which were all ok and diagnosed sciatica from where the pain was. Not so painful today šŸ‘šŸ¼X

Oh thatā€™s good. šŸ˜Š Sciatica really is awful. I donā€™t think unless youā€™ve had it you can understand how awful it is.
