Hi anyone on biological and methotrexate and not been vaccinated? Asking for a friend!

No I haven't. I've had blood clots before, and severe adverse reaction to drugs. I also got covid early on and decided the risks for me outweighed the benefits. My sister had a clotting problem after the jab, so I decided against.

The virus was nasty. I've still got a cough a year on. No lung issues though according to x-ray. So hopefully all OK.

I'm not challenging your choice, which is of course yours to make, but just want to clarify that Covid is more likely to cause blood clots than the vaccine.

Maybe, but since I'd already had covid there was no point in taking the jab. Plus it had gone from 1 to 2,3 and 4 jabs which would have increased my personal risk significantly. Each person must weigh up the pros and cons for themselves. Like all medicines, these jabs are not risk free. I was fortunate to not have been too hammered by the virus. It was nasty, but I got through it OK. I'm grateful for that. 😁

Sorry my attempt at humour 🥴 I’m not vaccinated either as had covid early on Feb 2020 I assumed I was in the minority and it looks that way from replies. Just interested not judging anyones decision as think our autonomy is precious ☺️

Triple jabbed and advised to keep a pcr indoors so my rheumy can send me those new tablets if i get infected again. No word about the 4th jab/booster though.

I’m vaxxed to the max. Did it for the sake of others who may end up near me as well as for my own sake. Happily. No issues with this vaccine, nor the flu vaccine, pneumonia, shingles, whooping cough, TB, polio, or any I’ve had in my life.

I am on methotrexate and a biologic, I also have other health issues. I have had each vaccination offered, 4 to date and will happily take any others offered. None have given me side effects. I know I would be in serious trouble health wise if I catch covid with out the immunity vacs have given me. It is horses for courses I respect those who chose not too have the vaccination so long as they are not treating me when I attend hospital as this is contact where it is difficult to maintain social distance. There are some folk, small in number, who cannot be vaccinated due to severe life threatening reactions. My heart goes out to these folk who have no choice and are left vulnerable to serious illness.

I am not Vaccinated.Tell your friend that they have to do what they feel is best it doesn't matter what others do or say to be honest.

Yes , here . 2x AZ , 1 Pfizer , 1/2 Moderna and quadrivalent 'flu jab . No reactions from first 2 AZs but strong reactions from the others . Arm ready , sleeve up if I'm offered any more . 🤗
