Thank you for your email.

As our processing system with DHCW has not been set up to add your third dose to the Covid Pass, I am unable to do anything myself to add this data to your record, just as your GP and vaccination centre would not be able to do this; the omission is due to a policy decision rather than a processing error. However, I am in contact with the policy team within the Welsh Government leading on Covid Status Certification and I will raise your case with them so this matter can be considered further. Either I, or an official from that Team, will contact you again.

Subject: WHY AM I BEING DISCRIMINATED by WITHOLDING MY GOV WALES NHS DIGITAL COVID PASS

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you as I am totally devastated that I am being treated very unfairly and being discriminated because I am listed as Immune suppressed and not being given the rights and same entitlement to have my 3rd Primary dose uploaded on to my nhs Gov Wales digital covid pass

I had my 3rd primary covid vaccination on 27th November and despite spending the last 4 weeks trying to get my situation rectified by contacting so many different people I am still no further on or received any help or clarification

In fact to add insult to injury 3rd dose people in England Scotland and Ireland are treated so much better as they are not being excluded from the Covid pass for being immune suppressed and their covid passes have been updated to include their 3rd primary vaccinations

May I respectfully point out that by law I have the right as a data subject under The General Data Protection Act 2018 - the right to UPDATE or correct my information and I have a right to ask for any information held about me to be corrected :included

My particular reference to being discriminated is in the fact that now some countries like UAE and Austria etc are refusing entry unless 3 vaccinations are digitally available when arriving overseas and therefore entry will only be permitted if the 2 primary doses and a booster/ 3rd vaccinations are digitally presented as proof of acceptable immunisation on arrival

This situation has been highlighted by many individuals both as 3rd dose patients, practice managers,GP’s vaccination centre coordinators , nurses etc in Wales but still no action had been taken by anyone

My GP and local vaccination centre have confirmed my 1st and 2nd 3td primary doses are on the WIS (Welsh immunisation ) system but they have no way of getting my 3rd dose uploaded on to the nhs wales gov digital covid pass

I do not underestimate any work that is constantly being undertaken by all areas of the welsh government, all hospital staff, surgeries , vaccination centres and community support workers and the level of stress and commitment that goes with everything

But please can someone rectify this situation as it is causing so much confusion and disruption - and if you cannot help please pass my communication onto someone in authority that can help me and so many others in the same situation that I find myself in

If anyone in the group has the same issues regarding their pass the situation needs to be resolved ASAP

I contacted BCU by email this morning before I read your email. I have had a reply saying my record is up to date, but third jab still not showing. I have replied asking what I can do. I will let you know if I receive a reply. It is just not good enough.

I have just checked, I'm pleased to say my third dose has now been added to my pass. Hopefully yours are there too. 🙂

And when did you actually have your 3rd dose vaccination?

Hi skinclinic. I am in Wales. I had my 3rd vaccination on the 18th of September. I checked a few days ago, it wasn't there! So, before adding my support to you all, I thought I had better check, low and behold there it was! Hopefully they are now updating their system so we'll all get them. By the way, I had my 4th Dec 19th, that has not been added.

Hi notsochunky yes - maybe it’s because we had ours after Honeybee61 ?

At least if some are getting uploaded the rest of us will follow

Tbh - sooner the better - although it looks to be taking months for updates to trickle through !

I am so thankful that even if it seems such a small issue to others at least all of us have somewhere/ someone to share our issues with and not feel isolated

I think you're right skinclinic, I had my vaccine very early compared to some, maybe updating in order 🤷‍♀️ who knows, you think something one day, then the rules are changed again😀 fingers crossed it will be soon for you all. x
