Thank you for your enquiry regarding your vaccination records.
As part of the vaccination programme individuals who are clinically more vulnerable were given a 3rd dose of vaccination not a booster and as a result your additional vaccination is a 3rd dose and therefore not included, currently, as part of the data flow for the COVID Pass. We are working with UK.Gov to develop a dataflow that will allow us to send such data and correctly identify this in the COVID Pass early in the New Year.
Kind regards,
Eli

So travel abroad to some countries that are now requesting copies of 3 vaccinations - cannot be allowed because any 3rd primary dose is not available on the wales gov digital covid pass
Another hurdle for those of us who are immune suppressed in Wales

No surprise is it! I'm beginning to believe the immunosuppressed in Wales are little more than an afterthought with the Welsh gov. You really have to dig deep into the plethora of repetative overblown pages of guidance for the extremely vunerable to find any useful info for the immunosuppressed. When you do come across some it is often outdated compared with England updates, which appear more concise and informative.
I had trouble trying to find out the steps to take to access antiviral treatment should I get infected. I ended up having to contact rheumy who kindly sent me a letter saying that they've looked online and if a PCR test was positive then I would have to call them as they have an email and can refer me to the treatment team who will contact me. Also took the opportunity to ask my GP the same the other day when I had a face to face with him because my acne is flaring like crazy! I was surprised by what he said, which was to go straight to hospital if I have symptoms and a LFT shows positive. Not sure which advice to follow but will probably be my GP's who I've been with for many years and knows my personal health issues better than anyone.
If you have a PCR + result…. In my local hospital there are signs everywhere saying DO NOT COME TO THE HOSPITAL…I can’t remember what they say you should do…but if I were you I’d be prepared & call the hospital you would go to & ask what your local arrangements are.
Imagine a doctor telling someone testing + to go to the one place likely to be full of vulnerable people!
Thanks AC, I get what you are saying and I have been thinking about the consequences of doing what my GP said. Right or wrong I've lost confidence in the system after negative experiences, some of which I've posted about here. It makes me wonder how efficient my GP thinks the system is too, or at least the procedure for aquiring antiviral treatment, which after all is a bit of a fine line with just 5 days after testing positive with a LFT for the treatment to be effective...CEVs in Wales are not even provided with a PCR test as they are in England. If I did follow what my GP said and go to hospital then I'd be sure to take every precaution and wear my FFP2 mask as I already do. As you say, let's hope I never test.
Hi WB….Tbh…in England,,,,.if you turned up at a hospital saying you had tested positive for Covid…you would be very unceremoniously told literally where you should go…fast! Please talk to your local hospital & ask them what they advise.
I think the advice your GP gave you is dangerous…..he really should not give that advice……just imagine 20+ people all turning up with + Covid tests…hospitals are running out of beds fast…not to mention the number of staff who could be infected….,which would mean no treatment for anybody.
That doctor needs to be told he is giving bad advice.
Just call the hospital you are nearest to ….& ask them what you must do if you are unfortunate enough to test positive.
I have this morning phoned the DHCW helpline regarding the fact that neither my 3rd vaccine NOR my booster appear on my Covid Pass. The response I received was that I would need my GP to log a call on my behalf with the IT support team!
It is hard enough to speak to a GP on a medical matter at the moment so don’t rate my chances of them being very helpful in this regard!
It seems we are being pushed around from pilar to post and I suspect the underlying reason lies in the system not being able to accommodate the unusual vaccine programme for the severely immunosuppressed🤦🏻♀️
Will try emailing my GP surgery Practice Manager later but not holding my breath!
Oh my goodness - this is getting even more complicated- I would have thought that at least your (4th Vaccination) - now called a booster would have been able to have been added
I guess nothing will happen unless enough of us “immune suppressed ‘ in Wales start to make some waves to move this on
I am guessing that the three doses on the digital covid pass are now becoming a mandatory requirement for more overseas destinations and probably cinemas etc over here in the U.K.
I still cannot understand why the Welsh Government digital covid pass is so different to the English and Scottish
Taking a leaf out of your book I emailed Customer Services@gov.wales to complain that neither my 3rdPrimary nor my Booster were appearing on my Digital Covid Pass
This resulted in Eli (whom you had communication from) sending me a form to supply details of my vaccination dates etc
I sent this back yesterday and although I am yet to receive a reply, I have just checked my Covid Pass and am delighted to say my Booster is accurately recorded!
For now, at least it seems that they are not able to add the 3rd Primary Dose but at least , once you have had your Booster, there should be no problem getting that added if it does not get recorded automatically.
Hope this is of some encouragement after all your endeavours to sort the issue
