Has anyone had a skin nodule in the middle of their chest? If so, how big was it and did it cause any pain? I think I had a 5mm round, firm nodule on my sternum. Never did find out exactly what it was after I had it removed. It was there for over a year. Thanks!

RA nodule(s) on chest
Did they say what it was? It usually gets sent off to the lab to be cut up into sections and examined under the microscope. It's probably somewhere in your records...
That’s just it. At first they said the biopsy was inflammatory breast cancer (this was 4 years ago), then when I questioned it, said that was a typo. That it was invasive ductal breast cancer and wanted to start me on heavy chemo right away. I didn’t do it. Then I went for PET/CT scans and there wasn’t anything on them to suggest breast cancer at all. A lot happened after that and after hiring a company to get all of my medical records, there were so many discrepancies (and some out right untruths) that I began searching for what the initial nodule could have been from my own pictures. They didn’t take any. The closest one was a RA nodule, which I now am certain it was. Any of the health care people I have been to will not say anything except what the initial biopsy was (or some still have in their records that it was inflammatory breast cancer). I still feel like I’m in the twilight zone. Attorneys won’t take it, as medical malpractice here is very hard to win and very expensive.
As oltimer days it will be in your records, I’m sure you must have access to them there, maybe online even if you have the electronic access. That will give you the definitive answer you need.
Just recently my rheumatolgist told me to “just let it go”. How am I supposed to do that?
If it was a nodule, then it doesn't matter. If it was malignant breast cancer you would have known it by now! What a muddle for you...but you do need to put it in the past and get on with present concerns.
