I just can't bear it.
It's snowing, we've had several powercuts and the boiler won't restart.
Oh to be on a dry beach somewhere in the blazing sunshine.

Oh crikey. I hope you can get the boiler going again ASAP. Sending you a ticket to that beach I am 🤞🏻🍀
Thanks! Where to? Where is the hottest place on earth?!
It could be Death Valley, California ? so might not be a good idea. How about my favourite beach Aphrodite's Beach, Cypress ?
three years ago, we went on holiday by mistake to Malaga (during the heatwave). Had to change plans at the last minute and had no idea what to expect. It was amazing, touristy, but not too much and also a working city with city beaches. This was before diagnosis but already I could tell that being in the hot and dry was massively beneficial to my overall health. I didn't get a single headache, was able to drink alcohol and generally had more energy. Just for fun my husband got me a 23 and Me DNA kit for my birthday and it is en route as we speak. I bet the results will show I am 90% lizard or something that can only thrive in extreme heat. Strange thing is I never used to be that fond of hot weather and sunbathing.
On our second to last day in Malaga I Iaid back under our sun umbrella and fell asleep for about three hours. I know it's weird but I actually like the feeling of being a bit sunburnt. there must be something wrong with my inner thermostat.
Boiler, firing back again, thank God.
I love being cosy inside so that's rubbish your heating has packed up, hopefully it will be fixed soon if not you'll have to warm up some other way ha ha 😀
Of course it won't restart, it's bl--dy cold out there - what do you expect? 😖😖
Exactly the same here. Power cuts on and off and boiler packed in. Deep joy!! Luckily heating man fixed it but now 300 quid poorer - but warm😁
OMG! Mine was not so drastic - it's one of those new pellet burners and is quite complicated to use - all the programmes etc I find very difficult to set. Basically it has to go through several start up cycles to get it going again but I didn't know how to do it - just kept fizzling out and getting colder and colder. Is is sunny where you are? Thankfully sun is shining and chickens are on the lawn. Off to the woods in a minute.
