I'm always cold- my hands are always freezing even if I don't notice! Often I feel I can't get warm. I think it's all part of it.

Yes i have had restless for years but i only found out from this site that both are related.I take pramipexole for the restless legs which keeps it under control most of the time.

I find a warm bath with Epsom salts before bed helps with the restless legs and achy body x

My husband has RA and has been on Methatrexate for several years.

He started getting Restless Legs and went to the doctor. She put him on ROPINIROLE 1 MG and that has helped a lot.He sleeps much better.

Good luck.

Hi SylviaMA ,

Thanks for asking this question because I am so anxious about the coming winter.

Yes, I feel the cold dreadfully. Last winter was sheer hell for me and this winter, well, I'm not sure what I can do about it.

Any suggestions?

Hi I live in Queensland Australia in the Central area so winter is hardly even here but as soon as the temp drops a few degrees I need a jumper and I was never like that before. I don't know what your winters are like but I suggest a lot of warm clothes a a few hot water bottles. Good luck 🙂

Yes SylviaMA I am jealous. Stay there, really don't move anywhere.

I'm in the UK and the winters are freezing cold. It's all the worst for having RA. Now in summer is beautiful with RA apart from the fatigue. I have a brother in NSW. They got homesick after a few years and came back with the youngsters who were born there. They came over in winter to show them the worst weather. They couldn't wait to get back for the surfing and sun.

I'd visit in winter but I have a beautiful dog and couldn't leave her.

Also Yes, I do have restless legs but I thought it was just me. Being full of fatigue, I thought it was my body telling me to get up and do something.

I'm sorry for all others who have this but I'm pleased knowing it's part of the symptoms.

Your in the right place, take care

Yes and yes! I do feel the cold a lot quicker than others around me, and I do have restless leg syndrome. I don't take any meds for restless leg because it is not too severe, but the cold is really annoying.
