Eventually have received the official letter from my local CCG that enables me to book my 3rd jab. However, I took it upon myself to visit a local drop-in centre armed with letters from my consultants last week. Got my jab on the 5th October after 2 weeks of hassle trying to go through official channels. Needed the jab urgently as my orthopaedic surgeon wanted me to have it before surgery. So have my total right hip replacement booked for 2nd November. Only downside is no visiting at the Nuffield hospital. Will miss my husband dreadfully as he normally does so much for me as my carer.
Best wishes Pam

Good luck my love. I was only in for 3 nights or so when I had my hip replaced. You are going to need hubby for sure when you get home. Have you asked for gutter crutches? They prevent you having to put your weight through you wrists etc. Hope it all goes well for you.
