Hospital recommendation

Hi all. I’m thinking of moving for family reasons and am flexible within Yorkshire. Does anyone recommend their Rheumy dept at any hospital? It’s good to be well informed and my ra is sadly very hard to control.

Hi there, good luck with moving to Yorkshire, 😊 I'm with Dr Green at York Hospital, he seems like a nice consultant the nurses are nice, I haven't had anything to worry about with RA with them. All the best x

The Rheumatology Department at Chapel Allerton, just a couple of miles north of Leeds is an excellent department as I used to go there for NRAS and got to know some of the medical staff at the meetings and some of my current and past consultants at Dewsbury from there. There are three lady consultants at Dewsbury, one of which is mine who is a biologics specialist but it’s a small hospital.

Me too at chapel allerton, 20 + years, lots of opti9ns at a regional centre for the hard to control ra. 🙂
