Monitoring the symptoms of RA/JIA on your phone

Some of you may have been thinking of trying the RheumaBuddy app. But what is it exactly?

RheumaBuddy is a free app created by patients, for patients. It allows you to:

- Track and monitor the symptoms of your RA or JIA over time

- Connect with a virtual community, where you can find support from other members who are sharing your struggles

- Prepare in advance for the upcoming consultations with your doctor

The app is available for download for iOS and Android.

You can download RheumaBuddy by visiting nras.org.uk/rheumabuddy

Let us know if you find it useful!

Well this is the best community to be in for sure. I struggle with left and right/back and front on the app. Sides need labelling. It’s not very accessible. Some boxes/buttons so faint you can’t see them. My rheumy won’t look at it. The level of detail he would deal with is much higher than the app provides. I keep a written diary for the purpose and he only skims that!

Madmusiclover thank you for your feedback. I'll pass this onto the RheumaBuddy team, they are always making improvements so this will be really helpful!

I used it for a bit - but I found it very depressing to record my symptoms and signs every day. It made me realise how bad it is and I can't do anything about it. I prefer to ignore the problems as far as I can.

I found it very useful pre diagnosis and again when I'm not too well.

I got 3/4 there and it crashed twice so gave up too. Shame. I’ll try again next week. Hopefully if it had a glitch it’s been sorted out.

Hi Neonkittie17 and Deeb1764 , thanks for bringing this issue to our attention! I am Sara from the RheumaBuddy team 😊 I can confirm that the issue has been fixed with version 3.3.7 out this morning. so if you are using iOS 12 or 13 and update the app to the latest version, you should not experience the issue anymore. Have a great day to both 💜
