NRAS is on the move!

Hi Everyone,

After 9 years in our current office, we have outgrown the space and need to relocate. It must be all the cake..! Thankfully we’ve found a new abode elsewhere in Maidenhead so have started moving today. It’s been really strange packing everything up and seems amazing that only 12 years ago, Ailsa set up the first NRAS office from her home. That’s now grown to a team of 20 with more about to join and work towards a better life for people living with RA. There’s always so much going on, there wasn’t a quiet time to move and there’s been a few setbacks, but we are finally ready to go!

The office is closed today and Monday so we can unload and settle in so please bear with us during this time. If you would like to contact the Helpline, please leave a message or use the helpline@nras.org.uk email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. All telephone numbers are staying the same but our new address is:

NRAS

Ground Floor

4 Switchback Office Park

Gardner Road

This isn’t the only upheaval for me as I’m buying my first house and hope to be in before Christmas. Scary stuff! On that subject, I must tell you that we’ve sold out of all NRAS Christmas Cards! This has never happened so early before and we are pleased that they have been popular. Sorry to those who didn’t get them in time and thank you to all those who have supported us in this way. There is some gift wrap and money wallets still available so we haven’t been completely cleared out.

You can also help in the lead up to Christmas by signing up to Give as you Live and just doing your online shopping! All you need to do is create an account and download an app that sits on your internet browser and once you buy something from their supporting stores, a percentage of your purchase comes to NRAS, at no cost to you. There are so many brands supporting the scheme now, including John Lewis, Amazon, M&S, Argos and loads more. It’s brilliant and so easy to use. If you do a lot of your Christmas shopping this way, you could be giving so much more than the gift itself – so do give it a try! Find out more and join at giveasyoulive.com/join/nras

Wishing you all a restful and happy weekend,
