I seem to be having a flare up atm. All my joints are hurting, I am fatigued and am still feeling like crap with abdominal pain! My lymph notes all seem to be inflamed. And on top of everything I have a migraine, I have not had one for over a year! I really hope I feel better tomorrow? I don't post on here for ages and over the weekend I have posted about 5 times.

Thank you everyone for listening to me rant away.

I think all the anticipation and worry about my granddaughter has finally come to a head! And then getting this infection.

Take care everyone and hopefully I will soon be back to my biking and walking.

Poor you - sounds nasty. Yes, I imagine the excitement and worry of the baby coming has set things off for you.

Try to take it easy the next few days. Relax with a good book or an excellent film. Put your feet up!

Hope it all calms down soon and the infection goes. Sending you a virtual hug 🤗

I’m sorry to hear you’re still suffering. Have you finished the antibiotics and have they cleared up the UTI? If your lymph nodes are swollen it does sound as though your body is still fighting an infection. I think you need medical advice so either contact your GP tomorrow or ring 111 today. Congratulations on becoming a granny! X

I'm sure you're right about all the anticipation and worry coming to a head Carolsos and it's understandable why you were worrying, also the infection. Hopefully this flare won't last long and maybe might ease when you see your granddaughter. I hope you feel better very soon. xx

I think it might not be a flare but the UTI, so if your not feeling better tomorrow contact your GP and were you told to stop your RA meds whilst on antibiotics ? if so it could be that but you really do need proper medical advice. I'd suggest asking if the bug has been identified to make sure you have the right antibiotic for that bug as some are resistant. The question of stopping is it seems to me a bit of , different consultants, have different views. My RA consultant sayes stop but the Nephrologist says no continue as the effect on an antibiotic is minimal and not worth the risk of a flare. Congratulations on the granddaughter we have one aged 15 months can run about, talks a lot and is thoroughly good fun.
