Morning everyone, hope you are all doing the best we can.

Another frosty morning, nice to see the sun.

I have been on Rinvoq going on 5 weeks now, it’s a new tablet, the rheumatoid nurse said it will start working in 3 weeks, but so far nothing happening. I hope it’s not another treatment that doesn’t work.

So I am writing to see if anyone else is taking this, and how are they getting on.

Everyone take care. X

I'm afraid it didn't work for my sister - not that I could see why they swopped her onto another JAK inhibitor when the first one didn't work. She has now gone on Simponi (golimumab) injections and seems to be having some benefit.

I am nearly 3 weeks in and whilst it very quickly improved fatigue, I think it has improved joint stiffness and pain a little but the improvement is inconsistent so far. I was also told it can be quick working (2 weeks) but can take up to 16. So hoping it might just be a slow burn! I do hope it kicks in for you soon.

Thank you to you both for replying, I will just have to be a bit more patient lol, and hopefully it will work. X
