I had my 7th a couple of weeks ago and likewise. A bit of a fluey feeling overnight but woke up feeling fine. The previous 6 all floored me!
Same here. Idk which one I had this time- all they told me was it was a different one for the younger people( I'm 66 lol)

I'm having a 7th Covid jab tomorrow. This time, I was sent a message via the NHS app on my mobile phone. I rarely use the NHS app so it was lucky I spotted it. Not sure why I wasn't sent a text as before, but hey ho. My neighbour of near 90 years has just had Covid, so it's still around.
There are thousands of coronaviruses, of which ‘Covid-19’ is but one, that have always been around & always will be. Big Pharma making billions, aided & abetted by corrupt governments. I haven’t had one ‘vaccine’ & never caught ‘Covid’.
The science is clear. Vaccines save lives as well as lessening the effects of COVID if you catch it. I'll be having my 7th shot shortly.
Whose ‘science’? That emanating from those paid to promote ‘vaccines’ or the truly independent? I suggest you research Dr Robert Malone. He invented the MRNA process & has much to divulge about the spike protein.

"The science it clear" really? - show the people the science - there is not a single reliable study that proves ANY vaccine works, and the Covid vaccines do not prevent you getting re-infected again and again and again; anyway what they jabbed you with was not a 'vaccine' it was experimental gene therapy even the inventor of the mRNA technology has said this; all I would ask others to do is to do their own research and find out for themselves.
Robert Malone did not invent mRNA technology. That is another one of his dubious claims.
Thank you rmros, I am partly wrong and you are partly right, although I did not name Robert Malone (being defensive here, also I do not entirely trust the man for some reason) although he is credited with being the inventor of the 'platform' for rMNA technology whereas it was Weissman and Kariko who did the lions share of the work and who should get all the credit.

Yes. I had 6th pfizer but reacted to it. A small price to pay in my opinion.
I had it no. 6 covid jab for me
I've had six and I don't think I'm going to have the spring one. I had covid last month, I had had the email about getting anti virals, I reported the positive result and when I had the follow up phone call from a doctor I was told that they now know from data that they have that I am not at any more risk if I catch covid, I'm on enbrel and mtx. So I've asked myself why keep on getting vaccinated if I'm not at a greater risk? The summers coming and cases do drop, I'll probably wait until the autumn.

Im waiting till the Autumn vaccine, had 6 already and Covid last December, so at the moment do not want to have more.
Having mine on Monday. It will be my 7th. I do understand the hesitation after already having had so many, and it seems so different now the jab isn't available to everyone across the board, somehow. But everything is risk management for people like us, these days. This is another step towards that. I think that's how I look at it. I do get nervous though, every time. I'm not even sure why.

Hello I had mine yesterday, it is a new one I am told that covers five different variants for the over 75s and those at higher risk. It was a Phisher one only problem I have is the usual one of a sore arm , which we are adviced means its in the right place, my muscle. No one has to have it it is patient choice , but I have had the virus and it was very bad I struggled to get out of bed due to muscle aches and no one to help me as I live alone anyway. It was worse than flu and lasted for quite some time. But I did evade hospital admission due I guess to having had the injections. Do reconsider.

I have been invited for my 7th but have decided to wait until the Autumn for the next one, just a bit uneasy about having so many, may regret it!! I think you have to decide.
can I ask about your shingles vaccine. I thought as it was a live vaccine people with RA and low immune system and with our medication should not have it. Hopefully you were ok.
There is a non live shingles vaccine for us. Shingrix, I think. I had it - you have 2 jabs 3 months apart I think. My rheumy nurse sent email to GP who then called me in for it.
Yes the Shingrix vaccine for shingles is not live. I’m booked to get it soon at my surgery.
I had my 4th jab last Autumn along with my annual flu jab, how come so many on here are on their 7th jab! I have COPD and RA and I'm taking Baricitinib 4mg daily, I'm in the vunerable group and shielding when advised to, I've not had covid.
That's not right, perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that JAK Inhibitors such as Baricitinib makes you more susceptable to severe covid than other immune-suppressants by depleting B-cells. Rituximab is another drug that depletes B-cells. I also take Baricitinib and have pulmonary fibrosis and it's been nearly 7 months since I had my Autumn booster, which to me seems to be stretching it a bit considering the above. That said, I'm in Wales so I won't hold my breath waiting for a vaccine invite..................................
Hi Wish, Rtx and JAKs are still thought to be the main RA advanced/high spec meds that interfere more aggressively with your B cells. (There are other very high spec biologics such as Tacrolimus up there too which is used for RA as well as in transplant patients.) Re determining higher risk re Covid booster eligibility, combo RA med therapy is taken into account and as you know, steroids are too, and aggressive RA/being new to your RA med within the last 6 months. The Green Doc online still lists these factors.
My current biologic RA med interferes with/reduces the count of the main CD4 helper T cells and reduces the potency which is needed to prompt the B cells to convert into antibodies, so it is a high spec med still even if not the blunderbuss of Rtx, as it’s affecting both Bs & Ts. For me, post Rtx is still causing the lack of mature B cells causing immune problems of hypogamma/low Ig’s, from which I can’t make enough antibodies to get vaccine responses.
At one point recently this year NICE were proposing that Baricitinib be on their recommended anti viral type meds to aid Covid recovery for higher risk patients so who knows? I’ve not seen their latest recommendations for a couple of months though. Good luck. Can you phone 119 from your area to ask if you should have got a reminder. Book in with them?
The national booking system is still open so may be easy just to book online. Take a hospital letter with you which states your current medication.
Hi, Is this for Wish rather than for me? It’s fine thanks, my out of sync vaccine pathway over the last couple of years has confused the NHS booking system. I’ve been a walk in patient for the last couple of years except for one time when I was allowed to book online! I have got letters from my immunologist and rheumy and have used these for my previous walk in vaccines but it’s often easier to book a slot if you can.

I phoned my health board's vaccination centre a month or so ago and was told to wait for an invitation letter and to expect one sometime in May or June. . I wasn't particularly happy with that so told the call handler that I'll phone again if I haven't heard anything by time May is out. Think I'd best give them a ring on Monday.

I wouldn’t want to deprive you of my immune madness experience! 😝 Seriously, I wish it hadn’t happened for me or for others though. 😑 It’s hard enough at times too without the vaccine booking system playing up but as the bookings scenario is usually quite erratic for me I’m used to it! Hope you can book one online or online or phone up. Hope you are steady.
I'm not too bad thanks. Just recieved the results of a CT scan to check for bladder and kidney stones and was given the all clear by my urologist. She also did my lungs and said I had mild deterioration indicating pulmonary fibrosis, but I already know about that. Oh , I also have a hiateus and umbiblical hernia...I don't do things by halves! 🙂 The umbiblical hernia was news to me. All in all, I'm pleased with the results.

Yes a lot to contend with. 🤨 I’m just about to juggle my 4 consultants again but my thyroid is still behaving 🙏🏻 Wishing everything else would too. I’m glad your fibrosis is steady and not causing anything out of the ordinary and the kidney/bladder scans went well. Good news.

I had Shingrix, the non-live shingles vaccine and my arm became red and inflamed. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic and my notes record that it was cellulitis. I was advised not to have the 2nd vaccination.
I have had RA for 20 years and am on Rituximab.
I m not having any more.
Going into A&E and being admitted for cardiac problems and now stuck on medication all within days of the Autumn booster plus then months of covid infection and flares. I’ve gained weight and feel ten years older!
But that’s me so good luck! most are fine.
I've developed cardiac issues too, but after having COVID treated with Paxlovid, not the booster. Interesting. I wonder what the science will show about heart issues, Covid and the vaccines? I think it will take time to come out. I'm so worried about having the next booster now. We're between a rock and a hard place!
I've had 6 so far, but not taking the 7th for now. I'll probably take it along with seasonal flu vaccination later in the year. I just feel that I have had enough for now.
It doesn’t seem a very well thought out system..…I refused another jab, because I only had a Rtx infusion a month ago.I actually explained to the woman on the number they give you to call……her response was….,” I’ll just say you refused.”
Sure enough I looked up vaccinations on my GP record..it just said “Patient refused”!
Nothing about the longer you wait after Rtx the better!
Tbh I’m not bothered…….but if I do get Covid again, more seriously than last time…bet your bottom dollar..it will be assessed as my own fault!
Yes, it’s less than ideal they can’t record .. “Declined booster as too close since last Rtx on .... “ Surely that’s not too many characters on their online form?! 😑 However many nurses and admins (and some docs) don’t know what Rtx is. My young practice nurse didn't know what a B cell was. Worrying really but at least she knew how to draw blood. (Sorry my bold won’t turn off!)
yes, last Monday, the Pfizer one because I am immunosuppressed, apart from bruised arm for a few days, I had no other reaction, yet my other 5 I had bad reactions, I would say, take what is offered, Covid is still out there! x
Hey, being immunocompromised , as you must be to be on this platform, it is only wise to continue to protect yourself as much as you can, no matter how much of a nuisance doing that may be. I have an appointment for my 6th or 7the and couldn't be more grateful to have the privilege to be allowed to get this. Personally I only have an attitude of gratitude. Finally, you are able to refuse the offer. Do what sits well with your spirit. Gx
Here in Australia we’re up to 5, yes I’ve had my fifth.
I had my 7th covid vaccination on 1 May . It was the new VidPrevtyn by Sanofi . It was a monovalent vaccine , supposed to cover the new covid virus circulating . It was certainly less problematic for me than the previous Pfizer or Moderna bivalent booster vaccinations which made me feel poorly for about a week . So far I've managed to evade covid , for which I'm very grateful .
You don't have to have it. My GP advised my 80yr old neighbour not to have it as she's had so many infections. Personally I can't see the benefit of having endless jabs, but it is entirely up to the individual.

Yep I had no7 on Saturday. Im still immunisupressed so for me it makes sense to increase my protection against a serious virus
Had my 8th last week; BioNTech Comirnaty. Slightly tender injection site, but no other side effects. Have managed to avoid Covid up to now and hope that carries on 😁.

I have had six vaccinations now but I, like you am feeling strangely reticent about having another one. I too have had shingles. I wish I knew what is stopping me this time.

I don't know how I got to be on this forum, I am on the Afib one, but as this is a more general discussion, so I thought I can chip in. I live in South Africa - I have had 3 Pfizer vacs, last one a year ago. Because of the slow take up here, many people won't have it for traditional and other reasons, I think the government has given up pushing it, lots of the places where they gave vaccines have closed, there are no longer figures released on number of cases etc. No text messages to go for another jab, looks like we've got to rely on our own immune systems. That said, I do not know anyone who in the past year has had Covid, so I'm not sure if all these extra vacs, after the initial two and a booster are really beneficial!

Yes, I had mine. No problems, just a slightly stiff arm for a couple of days. My son, aged 51, just had his first bout of Covid and tested positive on 21 April for 10 days. He’s still wheezing and coughing. Just because the government tells us Covid no longer treats us vulnerable, doesn’t mean it’s not around. I’d rather be safe than sorry.
