Unexplained irritation with nothing to show.

I have really bad irritation on my back just now but there is nothing there to show. I have had eczema all my life and in more recent times have had small patches of psoriasis, but this time I am puzzled as there is nothing showing. I have tried using Epiderm cream and then small amounts of Betnovate but they aren't making any difference. Do any of you have any idea what can be causing it?

Is it a burning sensation?

No, it doesn't burn, just itches like mad until I feel that I could scratch myself raw.

Hello Holly willow ,I sometimes get intense itchiness , usually same place on my back . I use a cream I got from doctors called unguentum M . If this doesn’t eSe it I then take a piriteze tablet , one a day for about two days , the cream is very good for any eczema based problems . Good luck

Thank you for telling me this rabbits. I already take two anti-histamine tablets called Loratadine at nights and have tried various creams, but I will make a note of the one that has helped you and mention it to my doctor if I need to go about it again.

I wish you very well , I think also our itchiness we get isn’t helped by getting anxious . I love the cream I mentioned . It’s very good for the feet also .
