Follow up on Allen Key splint post.... the 1st of two types of splints have arrived 👍🏼 It is comfortable as it has black cushioning on the inside and it’s easy to fit... just slot the finger in the splint and squeeze it gently until the desired tightness is achieved. At first it felt like that it would just drop off but it hasn’t/isn’t. It’s light and can be cleaned with a damp clothe.
I went for the small one as my finger measurement was on the cusp of the small and medium measurements and I am wondering if I should have gone for the next size up as it doesn’t seem quite deep enough... I’ll give it a couple of days and decide then wether to buy another one.
I hope that helps anyone looking to get an easy to use finger splint support 😎
All the best

They look much more modern than the ones I have but you actually have your finger inside the Oval 8s as opposed to putting a support over it, but if these fit well and as you say it doesn’t fall off and it does the trick then that’s great! Hope it brings you much relief.
Thanks... I am waiting for oval 8s to arrive in the post and then I will see the difference. I am envisaging wearing oval 8s in the day and this one at night... I’m not sure why I’ve kind of decided that 🤷🏼♀️
I recommend putting oval 8 splints somewhere safe when you take them off. They are very discreet to wear but I got through a few as I kept mislaying them!
My other half got in online but I’m not sure where ... it didn’t last long as I took it off in class and put it down and now can’t find it... don’t put new things down in front of special needs children as they love to touch and fiddle with things 🙄🙃
