I have now been prescribed co dydramol as a pain killer. Doctor actually ame on a home visit today, not from my surgery. He thinks my back pain is muscular. This drug can make you constipated, which I am already. He asl prescribed

LAXIDO for constipation, I have been taking DULCOLAX. which didn’t seem to work. Anyone else tried either of these.

I am always nervous of trying new drugs. Never used to be

My Mum used to take Laxido and it was fine.

I often use Movicol or other generics, Macrogol is the main ingredients in all of these I believe, same as in Laxido. I find it to be the easiest to tolerate and was told before it's what they would use in care homes and for children as it's quite gentle. Hope your back pain eases, it's not nice! x

Laxido powders are very safe and soften the stools .

Lactulose is a very gentle laxative liquid.

Over the years I have tried most and Laxido certainly suits me best of all. Like most drugs I think it is trial and error to find the one that suits you.
