I still hadn’t heard anything last night so emailed my old clinic nurse( don’t have an email for new Biologic nurse) and sent photos. God bless her she rang me from home at 7 this morning. She doesn’t think it’s a DVT but oedema best to contact Gp.
Gp wanted a f2f I’m just back she’s not happy she doesn’t think a DVT but her gut was telling her it need further investigated as my leg started to swell again so I’m booked in for a scan at 1.30 today.
She’s not happy with my ankle and wants further investigation and is going to contact the team.
First time in my life I have a raised blood pressure so I now need to buy a blood pressure monitor and check it twice a day and let gp know the readings.
Love a pre reg gp never fobbed off.
Will let you know how things go.
Thanks for all your messages I would be here all day replying so I’m just doing a general one. As usual fab support from you all xxx
Oh it sounds like we are off on the same trajectory. My bp is raised too. Why can’t they give the heart monitor? They usually lend them out? I do hope it’s ok 💕
Thank goodness your concerns are being taken seriously and investigated promptly. I bought a blood pressure monitor after a very high reading one day at my Truxima Rescore appointment. After due experimentation I discovered strong black coffee (which I love!) makes my BP rise considerably. So now when I go to the hospital for an appointment with my Rheumy I don’t go to the Costa Coffee booth beforehand! 😢
So glad it's all happening for you J, let's hope you get a diagnosis and treatment very soon - just as well you emailed your old clinic nurse and got advice. 🤞 x
Good to hear this that you are being sorted and fast too. Safe travels as potential snow in your region too x
I missed your earlier post about the swelling. If it is your lower leg it could be a burst bakers cyst. I had this earlier this year. Whole lower leg swollen was very sore, think I got cellulitis on top, took ages to go sitting with my foot raised. Good luck.
