In Sainsburys today it took me a good few minutes to realise I had put my shopping bag on the wrong side of the self checkout so it kept saying "item not in bag".
I then went out into car park and tried to get into someone else's car...... it was the same make as mine so didn't feel so bad 😁
I'm blaming the methotrexate ha ha
Have a good day xx
I'd just like to add no one was in danger during this episode!

I would start using a different supermarket! 😁😁 Seriously, yes it's really unpleasant isn't it but it's still early days so hopefully in a few more weeks you should almost be there. 🤞🤞
Goodness me - we have such a lot in common you and I. I’ve only just come in having thought another white car parked behind our was ours - definitely not the same make as ours. I did think it was a bit odd because I hadn’t thought we had parked right on the corner of the street, when I looked a bit further on and their was our car. You always feel a bit silly and hope that no one was watching you when you do that.
I don’t even have the methotrexate excuse. I think it’s possibly hereditary - years ago my not-even- very-elderly-totally-nutty mother was making a short ferry crossing when she got into a car at the other side of the river and thinking she knew the driver and after she got in and greeted him then she realised the poor man was a complete stranger. So alas that sort of thing seems to run in our family.
So familiar, i once left my car in town on a pay and display for a week.my mother -in-in law was staying, and i was in a tizzy. I thought i had returned my car to my garage and as that is some way from my house did not check.
It was only at the end of the week when i went to get the car to take mam to the bus station, i remembered where it was. My husband did not know whether to laugh, shout, or cry.
Fortunately no one had noticed so it all ended happily and now i walk or catch the village bus
I've had similar problems with car parks. Leaving my regular supermarket I looked for my car where I had left the car on a previous visit and wondered why I couldn't find it!
Even before RA and brain fog hit me I remember returning from a holiday abroad and at about 1 a.m. walking around the airport car park for about 40 minutes in the cold and wet before I could find my car. I had got off the shuttle bus at the wrong stop because I could not read what I had written on my ticket!!
Don't panic. We all have days when things go awry or make ourselves feel silly. Add RD to the mix and who knows what could happen. I'm very good at tripping over my own tongue
Me too. I answer back and talk to the car sat nav, thank the bank machine and card machines.
One of my sons thinks it’s hysterical - when I said ‘Don’t you do that too?’ He said ‘ no, he didn't’.
He must have posted it on some sort of social media because the response to his post was that ‘when robots take over the world his parents (us) would be pardoned .’ Nice to know that.
