Solid indoor lurking for me, I hate the heat. I can't wait for when I eventually get back to work and all the other furlough-ers are brown as buttons, and I'll be even whiter and paler!

Sorry, but they’re right. Heat won’t have much affect on people with RA. We already know the risk to most of us isn’t as high as once thought now that data is in. The consultants on NRAS live webinars have recently spoken about this.

People with much more serious illnesses though it’s lethal as their internal body temperature doesn’t work properly.

Lupus and strong sunlight are not a match made in heaven either.

I know they are right ! It was the irony of the day before they were saying ....shielding will pause , off to work in august even though the virus is still there and you are at risk , then next day...its a bit hot out there take care 😂

It’s a blanket statement I think. It’s not really meant for majority of us.

Bit like when the shielded bit started. It was across the board as having exceptions would have been impossible. Now as more data has come out, things have changed which is good for us now 😊
