Not been here for a while, just wanted to ask when we was told we are switching from Humira to Imraldi injection pen , if anyone has had a reaction from Imraldi injection. After four injections i.e. 8 weeks I had reaction and now have a skin condition on both my legs ,they think is possibley psoriasis ( having a biopsy to diagnos ).
Thanks in advance and keep safe people . 😘 xx

Hi, I had a reaction to Imraldi injection last week I had red blotches from my bikini line on the one side extended to under my breast. It didn’t last for long but approximately 15 minutes after the injection I sat out in the Sun and I think it’s played a big part dubious whether to inject again but can’t stand the thought of just being on MTX and High dosed pf steroids at the moment I inject biologics Every other week. MTX weekly and now 5 mg prednisolone. Has anybody else had the same problem. Thanks
Hi Mindy, hope you are well. I was on Humira for 10 years then was suddenly changed to Imraldi... didn’t have no rashes or anything but after each injection old symptoms would come back and after 4 injections I was suicidally depressed worrying about waking up not being able to move from legs down almost like you are paralysed... had that when I was younger a lot. They switched me back to Humira thankfully and it did take a 4-6 months before all the old symptoms went away again. I know they say Imraldi is the same but it really isn’t!
I was also switched from Humira to Imraldi and after having two injections my eyes were stinging and very red. It also gave me stomach cramps and felt generally unwell so I stopped. I have MTX weekly and I refuse to have steroids and prednisone. These also gave me stomach aches and the runs. I saw no point in taking medication that makes you feel so ill. I am now having Kevzara every two weeks. No side effects with these but I have finished my forth box and I see no improvement. This disease is taking away my life. I see no joy in struggling to get through the day.
Hi.I have had great success with Humira and refused to change to one of the newer drugs. I haven't heard of Imraldi. I am sure your symptoms will be fine. Perhaps ask to be put back on your previous medication.
