once they go above the 2-8 degrees they should be stored at, they can be kept at room temperature for 28 days. They shouldn’t go back in fridge once they have reached room temperature
thank you 😊
We’ve taken one out and put it in an unused drawer in dark and left one in. Haven’t got a fridge thermometer. Power has been off for nearly five hours now. These things seem to happen when advice lines closed !
Trick is to leave the fridge door closed to retain a low temperature.
we took both injections out of the fridge in the end as power was off for almost 10 hours. I’ve just spoken to healthnet and we can use one of the injections but was told the other had to be used within 14 days once out of fridge and they are picking that one up with next delivery.
Glad you’re getting a new delivery. Makes you wonder what we are to do if we get power cuts enforced this winter. 😑 (Don’t think for one moment that’s twigged with “the powers that be”, yet. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. )
yes -no what you mean !!! My husbands been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. I felt really upset to start with as I have rheumatoid but thankfully he takes everything in his stride. And I really hope the injections help him. He is now under the same consultant as me - you couldn’t make it up 😂. I tried two lots of TNF’s and they did nothing for me but as we know everyone responds differently. Thankfully, Baricitinib is helping .
