Hi all, just a quick update.. yet another “mother of all headaches” in the early hours of this morning! They are very much like migraines, the pulsing head on one side & the can’t stand the light! Fortunately had some cool patches which help! Sunday is Methotrexate day as well..plus tomorrow I have my second Imraldi injection. I am wondering if I should just get on with it or contact Rheumy Nurse? Xx
Day 13 on Imraldi Biosimilar: Hi all, just a quick... - NRAS
Day 13 on Imraldi Biosimilar
Definitely call nurse. Imraldi didn’t agree with me and I was told at last hospital appointment I should have called them much sooner. Good luck and call today.
Oh dear Julia, I am so disappointed for you that things are not going well for you.
Please let us know how you get on.
Very best wishes to you Pauline xx
That was an old post Pauline... don’t worry things are looking up now xx
Thank goodness.
I should start on Thursday hopefully.
I shall do an update just like you have on this site.
Good luck to you Julia
Pauline xx
Hi Pauline, have you had your first bio injection? Do let me know how you get on xx
I am waiting for the nurse now and I am so excited. Am I mad, how pathetic is that?
Will update as soon as she has left.
I was the same ! Are you pen or syringe? Hope it goes well xx
Hi there Julia.
Fabulous nurse, so helpful. I was surprised that I did not have to put a syringe into myself but a pen, a bit like methatrexate.
Nurse advised strongly to inject into stomach, to the left or right of tummy button. I didn't feel a thing so much impressed. No sign of bruising yet.
Just a matter of waiting now.
How are you Julia? I can't wait for an update, I do hope it is positive.
It is so great to be able to share experiences with others.
Xxxx

Hi, been on Imraldi since August 2019, while I have had a few ups & downs, generally in truth my mobility is about 40% better than it was before I started. Fatique hasn’t changed, that’s still bad but pain I would say is 60% better.. but everyone is very different so I wish you much good luck on yours 🍀💕
Hello Juliachoo...thanks so much for taking time to reply. It sounds like you still suffer rather though at least some improvement. As you say we are all different...I dont seem to get the fatigue that others talk of though definitely have slowed down...am 66!
Can only be thankful that we have meds to keep us mobile at least with luck.
Do hope you continue to improve...fingers crossed all round.
thanks again...Molefly
Hi same age as me, I didn’t get diagnosed with RA until 4 years ago although I think in hindsight I probably had it 10 years before, triggered by a close call. I’m trying to be absolutely truthful here, about Imraldi/MTX combo, no glossing it up. Think I would have been much better by now but we moved house end of Sept, very stressful, Had a kidney infection Oct, then pneumonia Nov so really have been “ off & on” the meds . Will be very interested to see how you do on yours, is it ok to follow you? Kind regards & good luck Julia x
Hi Julia, yes , would like to hear how you get on too. sorry to read of troubles though...God, I never thought my 60's would turn out like this!
Will txt again when I have a mo
