Getting back to you about our tablet, xeljanz that we are taking, what it is that’s me on it for 5 weeks now , i do not feel any different .
The RA nurse said I will feel it working in about 3 weeks I am just the same.
Now what strength are you on? I am on 5mg so in a day 10 mg that I take, so I was wondering if there was different strengths, I go in September to the hospital, for my review on how this is working, so far no.
Thank you and hope you are doing ok, and enjoying this lovely weather.
I started taking it in December 2018 and it was gradual process a little better each day by the end of March 2019 I still had a few of aching parts but by September 2019 every joint was good , no aches or pains , if I was going out for the day I would take some ibuprofen. December 2019 I completely stopped that ibuprofen and everything now is really good . It worked for me after trying 4 other treatments and as you know you have to be on them a good few months before really knowing wether they are going to fail. I hope it works for you and fingers are crossed 🤞 xx
I am currently in the process you mentioned of gradually getting better each day/week, if the treatment is working I am happy to be patient however I am worried about long team joint damage whilst I am waiting for the full effect of the Tofacitinib.
We’re you taking/given anything in the meantime whilst waiting for the full effect?
After 3 other medicines which caused me severe headaches and no relief this one is great, no side effects, just 2 little tablets a day and more effective than others!
