I get a pain after I inject but it doesn’t last long. I don’t get your other symptoms but we all react differently. Have you spoken to your rheumy about it? Does it happen after each injection? They’re the best people to advise you about your reactions.

Maybe it’s not the injection then , you could have a tummy bug. I’m glad you’ve got a GP appointment soon.

Dont think so its sweating and cramps and bloating so I have no tummy bug I've read these are side effects

I started on Benepali in February. Initially I felt marvellous but after a couple of weeks I had horrendous migraines. I stopped Benepali as I was going on holiday and couldn’t have such bad heads away from home. Migraines stopped.

I have just restarted Benepali as my RA is very bad (probably partly reaction as my mum died a few weeks back).

So far so good - I’m feeling fab again.

I’m ready to ‘ride out’ the migraines as I know these meds sometimes cause all sorts of side effects - most of which settle down in time. Figured I can cope with any migraines etc as I’m not exactly going anywhere for a while!!

I would talk to your Rheumy - mine always give great advice.

Good luck & hope it works for you x

Hi I’ve been on Benapali since Feb 2019. I do find that my stomach is bloated and I get tummy upsets and sweat a lot, when I mentioned to my Rheumy he just told me it was the menopause I’m 53 now wondering if it could be the Benapali. I also have constant niggling headaches. I would say that it has reduced my joint pains and flares. Will need to look into this more. Thank you for sharing.

I do not take the med that you take, but, I do take Enbrel Injections, once a week. With several meds, including Enbrel, I sweat a lot and have facial and neck flushing ( so embarrassed as my face and neck turn beet red and I POUR sweat !!). Not menopause, I am 51, however, had a total hysterectomy 15 years ago.... definitely the meds ! I went through menopause after my hysterectomy.... had hot flashes, and sweating, but nothing compared to what the RA meds give me.

I’ll take the good with the bad !! I’m pain free !

Not what you're looking for?
