Hospital
Yes I think so too because I had a call from my consultant this evening (!) to find out how I’m doing. He is going to arrange for another review mid-June and schedule my next Truxima infusion at the hospital for July.
Himself had to attend a hospital yesterday and was told that things were easing there and things would be getting back to normal, whatever that is, very soon. I suspect that the backlog will take some time to clear though.
There was a programme on BBC Radio 4 this morning, called The NHS Front Line (Week 6 on the covid wards). It discusses certain aspects of resuming other operations. I found it very interesting in its discussion of treating Covid patients, but must warn you that it may present a slightly pessimistic view about resuming normal service (or should that be the new normal service?).
