Hospital Beds

Definitely not designed for those with RA. Thin matress on top of a solid metal bed. I feel like the princess and the pea. I suppose they have to be like that in case they need to do CPR.

Looking forward to my lovely comfortable memory foam mattress. Sigh.

Palpitations and chest pain- my body must know nras is doing a feature on heart health!

What is annoying is they have locked all my meds up and i am not authorised to take them when I usually do because it doesn't fit in with this nurses protocol. Previous shift were fine with me taking them as long as I told them. I know my body and when I need to take my meds!

Sorry, rant over. Sigh

Ask to sign the sheet for self medication. Unless it's a controlled drug you should be able to

I can relate. These days waiting for a hospital room and getting off the ER beds are torture for us.

So sorry to hear any chance of them getting an air mattress for you?
