Definitely not designed for those with RA. Thin matress on top of a solid metal bed. I feel like the princess and the pea. I suppose they have to be like that in case they need to do CPR.
Looking forward to my lovely comfortable memory foam mattress. Sigh.

Let's hope it still remembers you eh!, lol, your lucky you got a bed, last time I was in hospital and the only bed they had was in the garden sharing with the flowers.
Palpitations and chest pain- my body must know nras is doing a feature on heart health!
What is annoying is they have locked all my meds up and i am not authorised to take them when I usually do because it doesn't fit in with this nurses protocol. Previous shift were fine with me taking them as long as I told them. I know my body and when I need to take my meds!
No but am now back home in my comfy bed tonight. Yipee!
Yeah - I know what you mean, but just think in hospitals, nursing homes, etc., everywhere - we make people who are usually just little skin and bone things sleep on them...
