So sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain and under these strange and difficult circumstances too. Would it be worth contacting the consultant (via his secretary) to see what is happening in respect of waiting lists and if any planned surgery is going ahead at this moment in time. As each area will be different at the moment. I know in this area lots of people who are awaiting operations or surgery have been postponed or cancelled. Are you getting any support from other health care professionals for your elbow, such as therapists? If so may be worth giving them a call for advice while waiting for athroscopy. Take care and sending my best wishes to you.

Oh bless you and anyone who’s waiting for such procedures, it must be awful not knowing when it will be.

Currently there are not any non urgent surgeries or appointments going on here in my local health trust because of Coronavirus. I think it’s a similar picture in most places in the UK unfortunately.

My father has a lot of different things booked, and can’t go to any of them, they don’t know when they are rescheduling for but September/October has been mentioned.

He needs to go in hospital as an inpatient to start a new heart medication and can’t do that either.

They did let me go to doctors surgery for my b12 jab though. Everything else appointment wise with all our consultants has been telephone consultation based.

I would ring the consultants secretary. They are usually very knowledgeable or can find things out for you, and as poppy said below if you have any physio teams or anyone else you can call do that as well.

Hope you aren’t in too much pain, and wish you well... good luck!

A lot of the Nuffield hospitals have handed over their services for Covid19 treatment & are only doing telephone consults.I’d phone & ask what Leeds are doing!
