Hello I would err on the side of caution and not go in. I am assuming you will be working with others in close proximity. I would ring your manager and explain your medication makes you vulnerable and heeding Gov. Advice you believe you should stay at home. I would assume that it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for that

You’d think they’d advise me but they say to just distance myself🙁

Yes if that is all you’re on and have no comorbidities the advice is social distance.

I would think as you work in a medical practice they would know the correct answer?

It is always better to have a directive isn't it?

I think this is something you need to discuss with your manager, I’m assuming they know you’re on etanercept so should be taking that into consideration.

People should only be going to work if that work is vital in helping us safe and the country going., working from home should be the case for anyone who is able too. Definitely, have a chat with employer, in my opinion I think you should be home isolating and protecting yourself. Stay safe x

Hi, I’m on Benepali and received a letter from the rheumatologist yesterday to say I am significantly immunosuppressant and in the high risk category so to self isolate. Take care x

Hello! May I ask, are you on Benepali on it's own or with other drugs? Thanks x

Hi there,

Your meds are immune suppressants and you are definitely putting yourself at risk especially the job you do. I would not be going to work and surprised your employer is allowing your return whether you want to or not.

Stay safe
