Well, that’s me now home from hospital- thank god! Can’t lie, it was somewhat anxiety provoking.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions and advice on getting there today - I’ve genuinely appreciated your support and am thankful for it. So, thank you again.
X ray done, surgeon had a look and really Impressed with how quickly it’s healed. So much do, he discharged me today! Boot for another four weeks and then can start testing it without crutches. I can also take it off at night in bed, which is just brilliant.
Referral to physio but he said not to hold my breath for appointment - totally understandable but gave me exercises I can be doing myself.
Hospital a little quieter but definitely not enough I’m terms of seating with regards social distancing measures. However, it is so clear hospital staff are doing everything they can.
Only patients were allowed further into the hospital and it was hugely disappointing to watch two grown men being told this by staff and totally ignoring them! Idiots.
Again, thank you all of you - you’re a great bunch x

So glad it went well Marie, pleased to hear you are progressing well with the ankle. Well done you. I was seen very quickly today and told to go straight home, A doctor did the US on my abdomen, so the cysts on my liver are simple cysts, so no change, but she believes I don’t have polyps in my gallbladder but stones, I was assured not to worry. I would think twice about going for hospital appointments for now, felt very spooked there. Most appointments are changed to telephone ones where possible now, thankfully. Take care x
Glad to hear things went as well as couldn’t be for you and that you were seen in a timely fashion. I know what you mean about feeling spooked - it’s very anxiety provoking.
