Good afternoon everyone. My laptop has been in hospital this last week having a new hard-drive put in. So now i can give you all a progress report .....
I went to pre-op yesterday and i was weighed 120.04 kilos which means i have lost weight. Yippee. My blood pressure was good,i had to have a load of blood taken and a x-ray on my chest to make sure everything is all right in my chest and i also had a ECG as well to check my heart as well. It was a long morning and we was there at the hospital for over three hours. Anyway yogurt still going well thank goodness. It is not as bad as i imagined it would be. Only a week to go and then i am in for the op.
I hope everyone is as well as you can be and hugs to all of you.xxxxx
Ps a fat photo to show you all.xxxx

Hi Sylvi, well done you for sticking with it and losing weight. I see you are wearing that lovely colour again, one of my favourites too. Not long to wait now. Smiler xx
I felt very down when i finally got home and it was exhausting as well. This is important to me and your so right. It is important for to get my mobility back hopefully. My health as well i know i might have a flare after the op,but i know in the long run i will be a lot better.xxxx
I really identify with what you're saying. I need to get my mobility back too as I'm very restricted as to what I can do. All we can do is our best isnt it.
True, getting it back Cathie is so hard when your in pain and exhausted all the time. I hope you succeed getting yours back darling. I don't know at this stage if i will get my mobility back or not. I know my knees won't hurt as much with less weight.xxxx
I had to have a full blown stress test before they would do my gastric bypass (I guess to make sure my heart was up to the surgery). It's hard enough to do a stress test when you are thin...I thought I was going to die! LOL! I told the tech that if that didn't kill me, I was sure I'd survive the surgery with flying colors. So glad that you did well on your pre-op and that all is on track for your surgery! Keep up the great work! Hugs!
Best of luck Sylvi. My gallbladder op was pretty hellish because of the incompetence of the hospital. But now, a few months on, I'm delighted with the fact that I never have tummy pain at all anymore with my huge gallstone gone. Hopefully your gastric bypass will work just as well for you as my op has for me and you'll be feeling the benefit soon afterwards. X
