Thankyou to every body who replied about the Pneumonia vac
I phoned GP to enquire😳Red face, the receptionist checked my notes and told me I had it done in 2013. I just couldn't remember. It's a one off jab apparently so put it to the back of my mind. I feel abit more relaxed now.
I wish you all well, and thanks again

I've had 2 pneumonia jabs over a 5 year period. I've had Pneumonia 5 times first when I was 5 years old, and last 5 years ago after having my 2nd jab. Oh, that's a lot of fives. LOL
At a recent group meeting, a rheumatologist said, in reply to a question, that it was generally advised that people who were on biological treatment should have a pneumonia immunisation every five years, because of the suppression of their immune system which reduces their response to the immunisation. But you would need to ask a rheumatologist whether you need another.
Im on Imraldi. I was told by my rheumatologist that I need pneumonia vaccination every 5 yrs. The GP rang me the other day to book it as she's written to them. My last one was 7 years ago. My GP is terrible when it comes to vaccination. Getting flu jab is always an argument with receptionist.
