Hi everyone

Hope you all had a great Xmas. For some reason my RA is really playing up Was doing very well for the last 3 years. Maybe my body has gotten used to the MTX and Plaquenil. See my Rheaumy after the holidays.

I’m the same as you . For 3 years did really well on methotrexate slight blips here and there but could live 90% of my life. Then this February it all spiralled out of control . Had to reduce my working hours and had to apply for pip messing around with meds hoping it would work 🙄🙄 now starting biological in the coming weeks. I think my RD just decided it wanted control.... I’m determined it won’t 😁

Can I suggest you keep a diary and take photos of any swelling to show your Rheumy. It will be Sod’s law that on the day you go your not so bad. This has happened to me and may have a delayed any new treatment.
