Waste of time

Went to my rhiemayology appointment today had a scan on my elbow 2 weeks ago at my local hospital. Call received from a doctor at my local hospital with result of scan given verbal have active synovitis and may need adjustment to my current medication. . Told the nurse what I had been told but couldn't make any changes as need written evidence. Dr told me they would cc the rheumatology dept (not my local hospital).

Left appointment no better off. Spaced out on co codamol. I am completely drained now feel tired nausea and very despondent.

Oh I feel for you .... I been having similar problems but I’ve put my foot down and demanded help. It’s not easy

If you had the scan why didn't the rheumy look on the computer and see the results I know they do at my hospital. xxxx

That's pointless - to have an investigation and then the results are not acted on.

You will need to do some assertive 'This isn't good enough' talk to the rheumatology department.
