My toe next to my little one, is really painful and making walking difficult. The pain is right at the end, at the side of the nail, and it feels like nerve pain. I am wondering if this is RA related, or something I have read called "Morton's toe" where do I turn for help please?

painful toe
Unfortunately that’s what RA is like . I spent months with pain in my ankles couldn’t walk only do a funny shuffle with a limp. ( had D- injection x3 ) they didn’t work. one day it was gone did nothing different. Yesterday I had a pain in the ball of my foot right where my toes join the ball with pain radiating up my third toe. Ra decided it had had enough fun in my ankles and made a beeline somewhere else🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ it’s unpredictable. If the pain is too much or lasts a long time contact your Rheumy clinic. Good luck.
One of the first problems I had with RA was very bad pain in my big toe. I was given injections and then finally a new toe joint. However, it wasn't really a good thing because my toe has now moved over to the side with the other toes following it. I also have trouble with pain at the side of my nails and have seen a podiatrist who says I need to have my toenails taken off because just cutting them will never stop it happening.
Sounds a bit extreme Holly, good luck anyway.
I have had this too, but I think mine is related to the sciatica that I get intermittently. Doing back stretches (and seeing the osteopath if it gets severe) usually improves it. But it has been bad enough to keep me awake at night, so not a trivial thing although it sounds like that when I say I have a pain in my toe!
I know, I hardly dare mention it, as it does sound so trivial, yet the pain is excruciating
